Ilhem Allagui is Elected as the IMMAA’s President

The International Media Management Academic Association (IMMAA) elects Ilhem Allagui to serve as its new president and chairwoman of its board.

Ilhem Allagui is a professor at Northwestern University in Qatar; she holds a Ph.D. from the University of Montreal, Canada.

Strategic communication, cultural industries, and the adoption of new media and emerging technologies in the Middle East and North Africa are the foundation of her research and professional expertise.

IMMAA members share a commitment to developing knowledge about the business of media.

Dr. Allagui assumed the role of president-elect of IMMAA in October, 2022, during the association’s Annual Conference held in Porto, Portugal.
